Incline Village Community Hospital has received the largest charitable grant ever for the Tahoe Forest Health System, officials announced Thursday. The Incline hospital was the recipient of the Helmsley Charitable Trust’s rural healthcare grants and received $1.8 million that will be used to purchase a new computer tomography scanner, a fixed x-ray device, and related costs. The advanced equipment will produce a higher quality image, improving health status assignments and proper course of care in treatments.
