We partnered with Lake Tahoe Balloons for a morning of floating on the air and water. While we guided a yoga asana practice beside the world’s smallest passenger aircraft carrier, the balloon inflated and launched.
It was a spectacular morning and a fun collaboration with an incredible local company.

Our Tahoe California State Parks are some of the best spots to experience these animals in their natural habitat!
When you're out exploring, remembering to respect wildlife from a safe distance keeps both you and our local species safe. A great trick to remember is the Rule of Thumb 👍-- Hold your arm straight out in front of you and give a thumbs-up. Close one eye and try to cover the animal with your thumb. If you can still see the animal around your thumb, you’re too close—take a few steps back!

Sometimes the timing is right. We are doing a To Tahoe Flight and Sheldon is flying where we are going at the same time. Top photo is as close as we can get. Setup photo shows the Balloon "aircraft carrier", as I call it, in lower right, balloon is in sight with full moon above as we are communicating on the radio for the setup fly by.
