💦 FREE Community Swim Night in Truckee!
Have you checked out the Truckee Community Aquatic Center yet? This Thursday, March 5th from 5–7 PM, the community is invited for a FREE night of swimming and fun for all ages.
Enjoy the lazy river, waterslide, and interactive water features in the Rec Pool, or test your skills in the Lap Pool with diving board, rope climb, and lap swimming.
Plus there will be snacks, community resources, blood pressure and sugar screenings, and plenty of ways to learn about programs like swim lessons, private instruction, and aquatic activities.
Bring the family, bring your friends, and come experience one of Truckee’s best community spaces! 🏊‍♂️✨

Join us at Tahoe City Winter Sports Park for one of our favorite SNOWFEST nights. Live music starts at 5:30 p.m. with local favorites The NOMADS, plus food and drinks from Café Zenon. Then bundle up and look to the sky as fireworks light up the North Shore straight from the snow.

The Tahoe City Parade you know and love is now the Tahoe City SNOWFEST Street Faire. North Lake Boulevard becomes a walk-through street party filled with colorful floats, interactive booths, performances, and plenty of Tahoe Mardi Gras flair.

Take TART, skip the parking hassle, and come celebrate winter, community, and SNOWFEST—Tahoe style.

The Great Ski Race: A competitive — or just plain fun! — Nordic cross-country ski adventure on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe ❄️🎿 Sign up to ski on March 1 at Tahoe XC in Tahoe City! Registration is capped at 800 participants, so be sure to register soon.

The Great Ski Race is the largest Nordic ski party west of Kings Beach, offering two course options — including a 26 km (16.2-mile) route from Tahoe Cross Country Center over Starratt Pass and back. Along the way, enjoy epic views of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada, plus 1,636 feet of climbing to keep things exciting. 🏔️🎿

Hosted by the all-volunteer @tahoenordicsar, this event is their exclusive annual fundraiser — so every stride helps support backcountry safety.💙
