Take a carriage ride beneath the pines, grab a bite from local food trucks, and soak in the holiday magic inside the historic Grand Hall. The aurora borealis, or northern lights, is a natural light display in the sky caused by the collision of charged particles from the sun with gases in Earth's atmosphere, which are then guided by the planet's magnetic field toward the poles. This interaction creates a colorful, shimmering show of light, with different colors resulting from the types of gases and altitudes at which the collisions occur. Neat!

We’re launching a community initiative this holiday season — Pizza Forward: 1,000 Acts of AleWorX, a campaign with a goal to donate 1,000 pizzas to local nonprofits across Northern Nevada and in the Tahoe Basin. Throughout the month of December 2025, AleWorX will match every pizza purchased at any location with a pizza donation to organizations supporting families, youth, and individuals in need.
