Local Agencies Take a Look at Insurance in Nevada - Community Input Needed to Inform Insurance Solutions for Residents
INCLINE VILLAGE, NEV. (May 5, 2022) - Parasol Tahoe Community Foundation, in collaboration with fire and insurance experts, are collecting information from Nevada residents to help inform creative and more sustainable home insurance solutions in the region. With the threat of wildfire ever-present in the Tahoe community, having data that supports the challenges of securing and maintaining fire insurance will help these partnering agencies to develop strategies addressing insurance problems that residents may have.
“Fire prevention and safety has always been one of our top priorities,” said Claudia Andersen, CEO of Parasol Tahoe Community Foundation. “Understanding the needs of our community when it comes to insurance is vital so that we can address the risks that come when living with wildfire and take steps to enhance the well-being and safety of our residents.”
The five-minute survey can be taken online at the link below or by visiting www.parasol.org.
All information collected through this survey will remain protected and no solicitation from insurance agencies will occur as a result of completing the survey.
