This week, when you donate $100 or more to the Incline Elementary School Makerspace your donation will be doubled by one of Incline Education Funds' generous donors. Donations will be matched up to $5,000.00.
In offering the match the donor said, "I believe in trying to provide the best public education for all. I had the opportunity to visit the (IES) Makerspace class and am a believer that this class is a game-changer for our students BECAUSE students learn to:
1. Work in a team
2. Define their own solution to a problem - and if that solution doesn’t work, (they learn to) identify another solution
3. Be creative
These are the skills that our children will need to compete in the world economy, not necessarily just for college, but for all types of jobs. Please help me support this program. Let’s give our students a chance to develop skills for today’s world economy."
