When there are thick clouds, sometimes we go under the clouds to get to Lake Tahoe, other times we go over the clouds to get to Lake Tahoe. Today we went over the top of the clouds to get to Lake Tahoe. Amazing cloud formations with a strong East wind. Interesting how the wind comes over from the valley forming the smooth silky clouds as the air rises over the mountain ridge and how this is over powered by puffy thermal clouds breaking through the wind and skyrocketing up. Super happy customer you can see with his big smile. Looks like another two weeks of great flying ahead.
