Hi Wine Lovers, This is a “local” wine, vinified in Yountville but the grapes are local, from our nearby Sierra Foothills American Viticulture Area (AVA), near and dear to my heart as it’s my term paper topic in my California Wine class (yep, I’m a nerd). For you kids who like dry wines, this is it. Aromas of black plum and cherry, the palate was cranberry with clove and a hint of tobacco and peppercorn with grippy tannins. This wine really opened after decanting (see photo below) and paired beautifully with my seasoned pork chops, sauteed spinach and air-fryer French fries, all from GO! Aren’t I lucky that my hubby cooks? Otherwise, I would starve but always seem to have enough wine! At $6.99 ($31 elsewhere), there’s not much left so come and get it!
Cheers
Celeste
