Village Terrain Park Snowboard Clinic Series for 6th thru 8th Grade Students.
Looking to take your park skills to the next level this season? Local 6-8th grade advanced riders are invited to join Coach Cedar Gately for a 6-week freestyle snowboard clinic series in the Village Terrain Park at Diamond Peak. Clinics will cover topics such as park etiquette, spins, boxes, jumps, rails, grabs, terminology and history. Participants must be able to link turns on all blue and most black runs and perform basic freestyle maneuvers.
2022 Midweek Program
Wednesdays, January 12 – February 16, 2022 (2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.)
Fee: $360 for 6 clinic midweek series
2022 Weekend Program
Sundays, January 23 – March 13, 2022 (2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.)
No clinic during President's Week - 2/20 & 2/27
Fees: $420 for 6 clinic Sunday series
Details & Registration
Must be a 6-8th grader and have an active IVGID Picture Pass to participate.
Fees do not include lift tickets or equipment. Season passes are recommended and can be purchased online.
Helmets are required.
Participants will meet on the snow behind the Base Lodge, near the trail map sign.

About the Instructor: Cedar Gately
Cedar grew up in sunny Santa Barbara with a skateboard underfoot and dreams of snow in his future. He took a chance and moved to Incline Village as a young adult to further pursue his passion for snowboarding. Shortly after the move, he took his experience as Director of the skate camp back home and founded the Village Skate School with IVGID. He is an experienced terrain park snowboarder and is passionate about spreading his knowledge to the next generation. Riding with Cedar you can expect to learn new tricks, while having fun and making connections along the way. Cedar is also a videographer, the creator of the "Thursdays in the Village" series on Instagram and recent winner of the Diamond Cut Video Competition.
