Lake Tahoe Ropes Course

The Village at Palisades Tahoe, Lake Tahoe Ropes Course

The Ropes Course at Olympic Valley consists of 3 different towers reaching up to 50' and 2 circuit courses including a total of 8 bridges and 7 short zip lines. The Ropes Course is a mix of vertical climbing events along with a variety of bridges and zip lines.

The vertical climbing events require the participant to be connected to a climbing rope with the rope held by a qualified belayer. Either our staff or a trained participant aged 16+ in your group can belay.

The circuit courses are suitable for ages 5+ and are self-guided after a short "ground school". The 2 hour session includes all the circuit courses and vertical elements, however, a belayer (someone in your group to hold the rope) is necessary to complete all the vertical climbs. The first 30 minutes of the session is to put on equipment and go through the ground school and belay lesson.
