Open Mic Night
Event Description:
Step into the spotlight or settle in as part of the audience for an evening of local talent, creativity, and community at Valhalla Tahoe’s Open Mic Night. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or taking the stage for the very first time, all are welcome to share music, poetry, storytelling, comedy, spoken word, or other original performances in the intimate setting of the Boathouse Theatre. Bring a song, a story, or simply come to enjoy an evening celebrating the incredible talent within our community. Performers may sign up upon arrival, with performance times determined based on the number of participants. See you there!
Performance Guidelines:
- Music, poetry, storytelling, comedy, spoken word, and other family-friendly performances are welcome.
- Performers may share two to three short pieces, with performance times determined based on the number of participants.
- Basic sound equipment, microphones, and the Boathouse Theatre’s piano will be available for performers.
- Beer, wine, and light snacks will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
