Truckee's Firecracker Mile
Event Description:
A Beloved 4th of July Tradition in Truckee. Kick off Independence Day with the Firecracker Mile, a fast, festive one-mile race down the Truckee parade route—from US Bank to Old Town. Held just before the parade, it’s a high-energy celebration for runners, families, and spectators alike.
The race starts at the Gateway Plaza across from US Bank in Truckee and follows the parade route to Old Town. This is a great community event and a great way to support the Auburn Ski Club Training Center scholarship fund.
