Stephens-Townsend-Murphy Send-Off
Event Description:
A historic 120-mile Sierra Nevada expedition honoring the 1844 Stephens-Townsend-Murphy Party will pass through our region! A send off celebrating the team of historians and environmental advocates traversing the route will take place at Donner Memorial State Park. This event spotlights local heritage and values of perseverance, cooperation, and environmental stewardship.
