Event Description:
Join us on Fridays at the Community Recreation Center for live interactive showings of the Model Train Art Display. Courtesy of the Truckee Donner Railroad Society, the display is a model of Truckee in 1927 with steam trains from that era. Many of the buildings are scratch-built from old plans and photos, presenting a hyper-realistic and detailed picture of the town's history! All are welcome at these Friday talks and demonstrations, so bring the whole family and get ready to learn!
