Good Morning Truckee - Haunted History: Ghosts of Truckee's Past
Event Description:
Step into Truckee’s fascinating and sometimes spooky past as we uncover some of the stories, legends, and darker chapters that have shaped our community. We’ll explore the history surrounding the Donner Party, hear tales from the historic Truckee Hotel, and take a closer look at some of the people and places that have left their mark on Truckee. Come ready for a morning of local history, fascinating stories, and maybe a few ghostly surprises along the way!
Our speakers will include Greg Zirbel from the Truckee-Donner Historical Society, JJ Morgan from The Truckee Hotel, and a very special guest appearance by Patrick Breen of the Donner Party, brought to life to share his firsthand account of that infamous winter.
