Event Description: 

The Little Big Bike Festival and Skills Clinics take place at the Truckee Bike Park in Truckee, California. The event caters to all ages, disciplines, and skill levels of mountain biking encouraging riders of all kinds to participate. The festival features a women’s only clinic and a two hour kids group clinic. Additionally, the festival includes Men’s and Women’s Amateur and Pro dual slalom and dual pump track races. There will be a strider bike jam and jump jam for kids as well as Men’s and Women’s Amateur and Pro Jump competitions.

The Little Big Bike Festival is excited to be a Freeride Mountain Bike (FMB) Bronze event. This event will be the first ever sanctioned Jump Competition for Women and the first stop on a three city tour in the inaugural year of the Women’s Slopestyle tour. For the first time ever female athletes will be represented in Slopestyle, Big Air and Dirt Jumping. The Women’s Slopestyle Tour includes  Sugar Showdown in Seattle, WA, the Big White Invitational in Kelowna, BC and The Little Big Bike Festival in Truckee, CA.

EVENT ORGANIZERS

Cortney Knudson, Brooks McMullin, and Biking for a Better World are putting on The Little Big Bike Festival for the 7th year and continue to donate their time to put on this community event.  The Little Bike Big Festival was the brainchild of Cortney & Brooks - who after building the first phases of the Truckee Bike Park, wanted to give MORE to the biking community as a way of celebrating & raising money for the park.
