Tour de ManureTour de Manure

The Tour de Manure is a Metric Century bike ride that showcases the spring meadows, ranchlands and historic Highway 49 communities of Sierra Valley about a half-hour drive north of Truckee. There are 62-mile and 42-mile loops and a 30-mile out and back route to choose from. It has a few mild climbs, but is generally a flat, relaxed ride. Fee includes rest stop food and drink, t-shirt and a finish-line BBQ meal provided by local restaurants and caterers, accompanied by live music. The ride has SAG support, maps and route markings. The ride is a benefit for the Sierraville Recreation Association and the Sierra County Fire Protection District.
