Tahoe Symphony welcomes one of America's most beloved violin virtuosos, Elizabeth Pitcairn, for an intimate performance of Brahms Violin Concerto, performed on the famed Red Mendelssohn Stradivarius of 1720, said to have inspired the award-winning film, The Red Violin. Opening the show with her company debut is piano soloist, Chutoung Suter, performing Greig's Piano Concerto in A Minor. These renowned musicians are joined by the Tahoe Symphony Orchestra for an intimate performance of some of classical music's most beloved and moving compositions, right in your own backyard.
