UC Davis Tahoe Science Center, High-Altitude Gardening Series
Event Description: 

Explore proven techniques in propagating potatoes and onions. Participate in a high-altitude phenology study to help determine successful varietals for the Tahoe Basin. Learn about these veggies we love so much, take home starter plants, and produce your own home-grown delicious eats.  

The high-altitude gardening series takes places on four consecutive Mondays (and one Friday). 

  • 5/14 - Potatoes and Onions
  • 5/21 - Onions
  • 6/1 - Raspberries/Gooseberries
  • 6/4 - Lettuce & Kale
  • 6/11 - Tomatoes
