Annual Trail Work Days
Tahoe XC needs your help. Our annual Lodge Clean Up and Trail Work Day has turned into a real community gathering and social event over the years. We will work on making the Lodge spiffy for the ski season ahead by cleaning the Fireplace Room, organizing trail signs, chop and stack wood, rake pine needles/pine cones and gather all broken limbs, put out street parking signs and more.
We will also have 2 working groups out on the trails. This trail work day will benefit all lodge and trail users- hikers, bikers, runners, walkers and cross-country skiers, and exercise both your body and your heart as it’s a call to volunteer and give back to your community. Open to all ability levels and ages, we encourage you to bring your own work gloves, long pants, sturdy shoes, sunshirt and sun hat and get ready for some good ole fashion hands-on, hard work and community camaraderie.
If you’re looking to fulfill community service hours, be part of something great, and teach your group or family the benefits of helping and serving your community, this is the time and place.
