Downtown Truckee Community Concerts
Tahoe Truckee School of Music, our community’s hometown non-profit music school, is collaborating with Truckee-Donner Recreation and Parks District to bring free live music to downtown Truckee during the fall months. Concerts take place at the Community Arts Center amphitheater in the heart of downtown on select Wednesday’s from 6-8 pm. Concerts are free for the whole family and no registration is required.

Sept 20 Lady & The Tramp, a versatile cover band performing classic rock, oldies, blues and country
Oct 4 Celebration of Women in Music feat. Steel Sparrows, a local group of rockin' mamas. Steel Sparrows was recently recognized as Best Band by Sierra Sun among other accolades.
Oct 18 The Johnson Party, ambassadors of the California Mountain Music sound, a style that fuses elements of reggae, rock, Americana and soul and advocates for a vibrant outdoor lifestyle culture and a deep respect for mother nature.
