Event Description:
Join TTCF and regional partners for a discussion on how to prepare for wildfire evacuation. Learn where to get timely information and what to do when an evacuation is ordered. Each agency will give a short presentation on their role and responsibilities with evacuation situations followed by ample time for questions from the audience. Spanish interpretation will be available.
The panel will include the following guest speakers:
- Bob Womack, Emergency Services Coordinator, Town of Truckee
- Paul Cummings, Nevada County Office of Emergency Services Program Manager
- Sean Scales, Lieutenant, Nevada County Sheriff’s Office
- Paul Long, Tahoe Station Lieutenant, Placer County Sheriff’s Office
