Snow Camping 101
Event Description:
Join the Tahoe Rim Trail Association for Snow Camping 101, where you will learn tips and tricks to enjoy a night out in the snowy backcountry.
We welcome new and seasoned backcountry enthusiasts eager to add another season to their camping experiences by learning the skills to camp successfully in the snow. Students can expect one evening video learning session before hitting the forest for an overnight experience. This course is designed to give students a basis for their winter adventures through classroom and field instruction.
