Event Description:
Join the Tahoe Rim Trail Association as we reroute the Horse Meadows trail up to Armstrong Pass in order to provide a more sustainable and enjoyable user experience!
This project will focus on rerouting the upper portion of the Horse Meadow trail to Armstrong Pass by constructing new section of trail and decommissioning the existing unsustainable trail. The workday will begin at 9 AM at the Horse Meadows trailhead and conclude at 4 PM. Hard hats, tools, eye protection, and gloves are provided by the TRTA. This trail work event is rated moderate because trail work requires using tools, hiking and getting dirty.
