Kids' Fishing Derby
Event Description:
All children 14 years and younger are welcome to attend the annual Kids' Fishing Derby at Sawmill Pond in South Lake Tahoe. There will be prize giveaways, free hot dogs and drinks donated by Raley's Supermarket. Loaned fishing equipment and tackle is available. Guides from Tahoe Fly Fishing are there to assist. This is an annual event is the first Saturday in June.
Sawmill Pond is located 2.5 miles west of the “Y” intersection on the Corner of Sawmill Road and Lake Tahoe Blvd. There is plenty of parking in the lot off of Sawmill Road with a few spots along the road as well.
