Fresh Tracks 5K Snowshoe Walk/Race at Camp Richardson
If you have never experienced snowshoeing, this is your chance! If you can walk, you can snowshoe! You don't have to race, just have FUN! For those who like to compete, unique handmade age-group awards are three deep. We will be barbecuing sausages, along with other post-race refreshments, veggie chili, potato salad, cookies, cocoa... It's a party in the snow!
Sign up by February 20 to save $5 ($39.68 includes registration and fees) and be sure to reserve a pair of snowshoes if you need them or bring your own. We encourage first-time walkers! Race day is $45.
Registration includes event swag, snowshoe rental if you need snowshoes, post-race refreshments and continued day use of groomed Camp Richardson trails. Race day registration will be at the Ice Cream Parlor.
The beneficiary is Metastatic Breast Cancer in honor of club member, Rene Gorevin; local doctor, Kelly Shanahan; young local mom, Adrienne Shepard and other local Tahoe women.
*In case of no snow, it will be a trail walk/run. We are not cancelling for lack of snow.
