3rd Annual Tahoe Joy Festival
This is an amazing BENEFIT festival — all proceeds go to non-profit/music/art education/environmental stewardship etc and local businesses. A FREE single-day community-driven music festival right at Commons Beach in Tahoe City. Showcasing ten regional bands, student musicians, more than 30 local artisan vendors, food and beverage trucks and family-friendly activities hosted by community environmental organizations. The Tahoe Joy Festival raises awareness and funds for local non-profits. This year's recipient is the Tahoe Truckee School of Music.

"The Tahoe Joy Festival started as a simple idea of how to showcase Tahoe’s diverse music scene, bask in its natural beauty, and support nonprofits all in one day,” commented Matt Axton, musician and brainchild of the Tahoe Joy Festival. “I am lucky enough to be born and raised in Tahoe City and my family has been part of the music industry for three generations. Music is a great way to experience connection and community, and this festival is an opportunity for me to share my joy and love of Tahoe."
