Event Description:
Please join the Lake Tahoe Historical Society for its first Fall Fireside Chat. Peter Goin, foundation Professor of Art in Photography and Videography at the University of Nevada Reno, will present a slideshow focusing on his extensive re-photography work and techniques in the Lake Tahoe region. He is best known for his work within the altered landscape. His work has been shown in over fifty museums nationally and internationally and he is the recipient of two National Endowment for the Arts Fellowships. Goin is the author of numerous books, as well. Sale of his books and a book signing will follow the event. Free for LTHS members and $3 for nonmembers. For questions, please call 530-541-5458.
