On Saturday, October 10, 2026 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, join the Lake Tahoe Historical Society for a day of celebration. Come one, come all... teamsters, drovers and wayfarers to, “Beyond the Toll Gate—History Revealed!” After 167 years, the Lake Tahoe Historical Society will kickoff the inaugural opening of the oldest standing commercial building in Lake Tahoe—Osgood’s Toll House.

Restoration is finally complete! The public is invited to join us as we lift the toll gate and share the history of the Osgood Toll House at the History Museum Complex, 3058 Lake Tahoe Boulevard, South Lake Tahoe. Free and open to all.
