Join the Lake Tahoe Historical Society for a unique, first person-story telling program by historians David & Gayle Woodruff. They will hysterically recount their so-called “cherished” family vacations, sharing memories of monuments of mystery, culinary curiosities, cross country chain smoking…and the many small mishaps (and triumphs) that shaped each journey. Through stories drawn from their own childhood vacations and family lore, the program blends humor, reflection, and regional color to illuminate how everyday people experienced the open road—a shared American past.
