Community Soup Night
Tahoe Food Hub and Slow Food Lake Tahoe are hosting a “pop-up” Community Soup Night on Thursday, February 8th before the Alpenglow Winter Film Series at Squaw’s Olympic Valley Lodge. Soup’s on from 5-6:30 pm followed by the show at 7pm.
“Community Soup Night and the Alpenglow Winter Film Series are all about bringing community together,” comments Susie Sutphin, Director of the Tahoe Food Hub. “Bringing the two events together under one roof on the same night, will be the ultimate community event.”
Whether it is date night, catching up with friends or family night-out, Soup & a Movie is affordable and fun! Community Soup Night provides a warm, affordable and delicious meal made from fresh, local and sustainably-grown ingredients sourced by the Tahoe Food Hub. The Alpenglow Winter Film Series inspires, motivates and educates the Lake Tahoe community on adventures stateside and overseas. Soup and bread are just $5 and a salad can be added for only $2 more. Soup will be served from 5:00-6:30pm. The film series is FREE but its incredible raffle raises money for the featured non-profit beneficiary of the night which happened to be Tahoe Food Hub. The show starts at 7pm.
