Tahoe City Heritage Celebration
Event Description:
Join us for a community celebration honoring Tahoe City’s rich history with tours, exhibits, and storytelling!
Schedule:
- 11 a.m. | Rededication of the Dr. James Church Plaque: Celebrate the legacy of Dr. James Church with a special plaque rededication ceremony next to the Lake Tahoe Dam.
- 11 a.m.–4 p.m. | Free Museum Open Houses: Enjoy free admission and special activities as part of the Placer County Heritage Trail.
- 1:00 p.m. | Historic Walking Tour: Take a guided walk through Tahoe City’s historic district led by Mountain Town Walking Tours. Space is limited and registration is recommended.

- Gatekeeper’s Museum – Open house with refreshments and live music from Old Souls
- Watson Cabin
- SNOW Museum
