Event Description:
The next Tahoe City Firewise Planning Meeting will be March 2 at 6 p.m. at the TCPUD Board Room and on Zoom (login on website).
Tahoe City Downtown Associations invites residents, property owners, and business owners to take part in shaping the future of wildfire preparedness in our downtown core. Learn more about Firewise effort at the link below.
At this meeting, the planning group will:
- Review and discuss the final proposed boundaries for the Tahoe City Firewise district. The draft boundaries are available here.
- Begin planning our first community outreach event.
- Identify additional ways neighbors can get involved in ongoing Firewise efforts
Community members are still needed to help represent the district and ensure a broad range of voices are included in the planning process. Your participation is essential to building a strong, locally driven Firewise Community. Please share this meeting with your neighbors and encourage them to attend.
