Event Description: 
Join an inspiring afternoon of poetry, music, and community at William B. Layton State Park in Tahoe City as part of Poetry in Parks on Aug. 22 from 3-5 p.m. Hosted by Scott Green, the event is free and open to everyone. Poetry in Parks is part of a statewide spoken word event series that began in 2015 as a successful pilot program for Arts in California Parks, bringing together poetry, storytelling, and community.

Featured poets & authors will include:
