Call for Artists: North Tahoe Utility Box Art Project
Event Description:
Help transform utility boxes in Tahoe City and Kings Beach into vibrant works of public art.
The North Tahoe Utility Box Art Project is seeking original artwork that celebrates the culture, environment, history, recreation, and community spirit of North Lake Tahoe. Selected artwork will be professionally installed as vinyl wraps on utility boxes throughout both town centers.
Artists of all experience levels, including student artists, are encouraged to apply. Selected artists will receive a stipend and recognition through project marketing, a dedicated webpage, and a community reception.
The project is part of the North Tahoe Community Alliance Town Center Revitalization Project and is designed to beautify public spaces, reduce graffiti, support local artists, and create more vibrant and welcoming town centers.
