Sarah will move you through gentle restorative yoga postures to relax and unwind the body, while Emily serenades you with sound to calm the mind. Together they will guide you through meditational practices and Kirtan to lead you to a state of ultimate bliss and relaxation.
Restorative yoga and sound healing help to reduce anxiety and depression, increase blood circulation, lower anger and blood pressure, increase mental and emotional clarity, as well as stimulate the immune system. Sarah's Bio:
Sarah Hannala is a yoga teacher, healer, writer and avid environmentalist. She began her yoga journey in Lake Tahoe and has been apart of The Sanctuary team for years. She teaches many styles and lineages of yoga with a large Bhakti influence in all of her classes. Since she is always on the move, we are always excited when her love passes through the studio! Sarah was voted, "Best Yoga Class" in North Lake Tahoe for two years in a row and is deeply loved in this community. Her mindful offerings come from a place of raw and real vulnerability with a deep love that never goes unnoticed.
Emily's Bio:
Emily Weer is a locally loved healer that offers heart-opening yoga, energy work, body work/massage, tantra and sound healing. She has been teaching many styles and lineages of yoga in the area since 2003. Her sound healing brings a shamanic influnced soundscape of ethereal tones, gongs, tibetan bowls, flutes, chimes, bells, harmonium, voice, handpan, mystical tongue drums, and a whole lot of love. With over 20 years of experience in the healing arts, Emily's love and connection to spirit shines bright in each of her unique offerings.
