Ski History Day
Dive into the roots of skiing at Sugar Bowl with timeless stories, vintage gear, and fun on the slopes!
Nestled at 7,000 feet on Donner Summit, Sugar Bowl’s 88 years of history include the installation of California’s first chairlift and the amazing feats and adventures of ski pioneers, innovators, and Olympians from the 1930s to the present.
Hosted by the SNOW Sports Museum in partnership with Sugar Bowl Resort, Ski History Day is a special small-group experience offering a memorable winter morning and afternoon spent exploring historic terrain, diving into stories from the early days of California skiing, and connecting with the people preserving this heritage for future generations.
