Ski Run Presents: Adventure for Rhinos With Tara Hetz
Join us for an evening of arm-chair travel to the high plateau of central Kenya and learn about Adventure for Rhinos and its social impact fund – the Mazingira Conservation Fund. Tara Hetz will share stories from growing up in Africa and her journey to preserving wildlife through riding bikes across some of the most special places on the planet.
Tara is the creator, organizer, and lead guide of Adventure for Rhinos. Raised in the middle of Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park, Tara’s unique childhood was spent living amongst East Africa’s wildlife. At a young age, she was immersed in her parents’ careers in conservation, tourism, and environmental education. Inspired by their work and her love of the the natural world, Tara is combining her passions of adventure travel and conservation. Her master’s degree is in Sustainable Tourism from the University of Utah. She is the creator, organizer, and lead guide of Mazingira Adventures. She is thrilled to share stories of the adventure of a lifetime.
