The lake is getting a bit chilly for a beach day and the beginning of ski season seems a lifetime away. How are you making the most of October? Tahoe Via Ferrata is open through the end of October (weather-permitting), and it's the perfect time to climb. Professional mountain guides will lead you on one of four routes, safely attached to the rock throughout the experience using permanent steel anchors and cables. Enjoy stunning scenery, get those legs ready for powder days ahead, and maybe even scope out a few lines before the snow flies - book your tour today!

🍂Autumn greetings from North Tahoe!🍂 What a gorgeous fall we've been having, with continued clear skies and comfortable temps in the forecast.

Park hours have shifted to winter operations. Vikingsholm Castle, Pine Lodge, and all campgrounds (except Sugar Pine Point for winter camping) are closed for the season. Visitor Centers at Emerald Bay, DL Bliss, and Sugar Pine Point are also closed. The parks, except DL Bliss, remain open from sunrise to sunset for day use.
