Scarecrow showdowns start now. Voting details coming soon. It’s that time of year — Scarecrows on Parade is back in Tahoe City, and we’re bringing the flavor with our very own “Naan Witch” (you’ll smell her coming). Thanks to the Tahoe City Downtown Association, and in partnership with Tahoe Lake Elementary students and local businesses, downtown transforms into a festive fall stroll filled with creative, quirky, and downright brilliant scarecrows.
Whether you’re a local or just passing through, take a walk through the corridor, check out the displays, and vote for your top three by Nov 1.Voting is live now! Scan the QR code on the scarecrow of your choice (Tap Haus Naan Witch) and tell your friends to do the same!

That's right! Tickets are on sale now for TOCCATA Tahoe Symphony's annual presentation of "Handel's Messiah & Holiday Favorites". This year, we will be bringing our show to Truckee, Reno (Trinity & St. John's), Carson Valley, and Incline Village - so don't wait to reserve your seats and celebrate one of the most wonderful times of the year with us!

Join us for Halloween in the Park, alongside the trick or treating downtown, on October 24th from 4pm-6pm. We'll be changing it up this year, with trick or treating throughout the Downtown Park and around the art center building with a variety of fun stops for the kids. We will have a costume contest at 5:30pm. There will also be live music playing on the Downtown Stage, curtesy of the Tahoe Truckee School of Music. Please note that there is no parade this year through downtown.

Tahoe City Zombie Crawl Is Coming… 🧟‍♀️
The undead rise this Friday, October 24 — and Tahoe City is ground zero. Join the town-wide Zombie Crawl and make the Tap Haus your first (or final) stop.
We’re going all out with:
🎨 Free face painting by local artist Sarah Shepherd
⏰ 3:30–6pm out front — aka the Zombification Station
📸 Group zombie photo after painting — tag us to be featured!
Then stick around as things get a little… undead:
🎶 Live music by Local Anthology
🍸 $8 “Dark Elixir” cocktail
🍺 $1 off all draft beers + cocktails

Big Truck Day is this Saturday 10/18! Join us at the Town Corp Yard from 11am-2pm for a fun filled day with Big Trucks from over 20 local agencies. Let your kiddos explore and enjoy a wide variety of trucks and heavy machinery. We will have Casa Baeza and Kona Ice serving up food and snacks. Live music performances will be provided by Tahoe Truckee School of Music. The CHP Helicopter will perform a landing. It's a day you don't want to miss! Learn more at the link below:
