Happy summer Wine Club,
This is a great choice for a summer red. Many of you gravitate to white or lighter reds for the summer, understandably so! This 2020 Lyric Pinot Noir from Santa Barbara presented with aromas of strawberry and raspberry and a palate of Bing cherry with a hint of spiced tea and clove, interesting for a Pinot! Nice finish balanced with fruit and acid, aged in oak but the oak notes are soft and subtle. Pair with salmon or in my case, a chicken bowl from the barbeque with homemade Pico de Gallo, all GO purchases! We have a couple cases left, a great value at $12.99; $30 elsewhere.

Blackberry-Ginger Infused Aged Dark Balsamic is pleasingly sweet like summer ripened blackberries and made slightly tart with the ginger. It is makes an absolutely Devine salad dressing when paired with Persian Lime or Blood Orange Olive Oil. If you love putting fresh berries on your salad, this is the one for you! We also love making cocktails with it - 2 Tbs of balsamic, 1 shot of vodka, and then mix with Ginger Ale, Ginger Beer, or Club Soda for a waist-friendly drink.
