These panels are a testament to the strong partnership and collaboration with our Washoe Tribal and California State Park partners, with funding provided by the Sierra State Parks Foundation. The installation of these panels marks another important step in the larger effort to restore the name dukMéʔem wáťa within Sugar Pine Point State Park.

💔 Farewell to Mourelatos Lakeshore Resort! Over the weekend, I had the privilege of attending the Mourelatos Lakeshore Resort farewell party. After 45 years in business, around October 15th, the sale of Mourelatos to Martis Camp will be finalized. While the resort steps into a new era, we will deeply miss the landmark and all it’s meant to our community. And though Alex isn’t moving away, I want to extend heartfelt thanks for his decades of generosity, leadership, and love for Tahoe.
