After over 23 years of service as the Incline Middle School’s music teacher, John Mueller will be retiring. Please join us in honoring him with your farewell wishes, memories, and photos that will be organized for Mr. Mueller, and be featured in a memoir keepsake and farewell video.

Music teacher John Mueller was one of the founders of CYMBAL and as a passionate teacher, launched the careers of many students who continued to study and perform at colleges, universities and beyond. During his time at Incline Middle School he and his students participated in the annual “Music in the Parks” program where students won top scores in music competition. Mr. Mueller received several national awards and recognition as an outstanding music educator. The hugely successful Moonlight Serenade event that started years ago at the old Chateau and moved to the Cal Neva’s Indian Room, and then transformed more recently into the Moonlight Jazz Club held at the newly renovated Chateau, was just one of the many projects that John helped to launch during the early days of CYMBAL Music Boosters.

Camp Explore, a children's summer camp based out of Incline Village through the non-profit Tahoe Family Solutions, is hiring summer camp staff for July 14-August 6th. Positions include backpacking guide, camp counselors and camp cook. Camp Explore offers great opportunities for children to get outside, swim, fish, hike, and get a break from all the screen time with distance learning. It will be a great summer and we'd love to have you as a part of Camp Explore.
