The TOCCATA–Tahoe Symphony Orchestra and Chorus will conclude their 16th Season with a Production of HANDEL’S MESSIAH, along with seasonal carols that the audience will be most welcome to join in singing.

Vocal Soloists for these performances will include soloists from our Chorus, and other area musicians.
The TOCCATA Orchestra features Brian Fox and Jeffrey Lindhorst as Concertmasters; David Brock and Nick Haines as continuo; with William Cates and Joe Savage on Baroque (piccolo) Trumpet.
All performances will be conducted by Maestro James Rawie.

Performances are being planned for several distinct and festive venues:

Sunday, December 5 3pm .......... The Cornerstone Church, Incline Village
Friday, December 10 6:30pm ....... Trinity Lutheran Church, Gardnerville
Sunday, December 12 3pm ........... The Sierra Bible Church, Truckee
Saturday, December 18 3pm ........ Brewery Arts Center, Carson City
Sunday, December 19 3pm ........... St. Theresa's Catholic Church, South Lake Tahoe

Dateline Canada, where today’s most industrious landscape architects are the world’s
busiest beavers. Having been an Oregon Duck fan all my life, I really don’t buy much stock in
them buck-toothed beavers, though I do have a soft spot in my heart for the beavers of Canada.
By building cozy watery homes for themselves and their families, Canadian beavers are also
unintentionally washing out roads and flooding farmer’s fields, those little bucked-toothed
beavers.

We are so excited that Buried: The 1982 Alpine Meadows Avalanche is opening this week! The response from the community has been amazing - all weekend shows, including matinees, are almost sold out. We have a handful of tickets left for the weekend, and a few during the week. Be sure to buy your tickets in advance.
