The Sierra State Parks Foundation Board of Directors has named Michael Myers the new Executive Director of the Sierra State Parks Foundation. When Myers assumes the role in May 2024, he will manage all day-to-day operations for the Foundation and its park operations (Visitor Centers and historic house tours), fundraising programs for park programs and maintenance and coordinate projects in progress with State Parks.

?Q1 2024 MARKET UPDATE! ? The North Lake Tahoe and Truckee real estate markets enjoyed a great first quarter with year over year dollar volume up 21%, the number of single-family homes sales was up 28%, and the median home price up 16%. Due to limited inventory, the volume of homes sales remains below the 10-year average, but we are above 2023 volume, and on a more positive trajectory.

Can you guess what’s in the box? It’s a brand new laser projector, the newest technology in movie projectors that uses lasers instead of a bulb for crisper, brighter pictures! It’s also more energy efficient. This is a major investment for us and we are excited to share it with the community. We will be closed April 29-May 2 to install the projector and a new screen.
