Calling for candidates to run for school board seats!

Do you like the direction our schools are headed? Do you care about what subjects are taught to your children? Do you want to have more input over how school resources are spent? If you care about these issues, consider getting involved and running for LTUSD School Board. By being a member of your local school board, you influence the education children will receive and guide how our educational tax dollars are spent.

Two seats on the Board of Education are up for election – one from Trustee Areas 2 and 5. The filing period is July 18 to August 12, 2022 and the election will be held on November 8, 2022. There are two monthly meetings and one special annual meeting. Board Members do receive a stipend and health benefits.
