Now this is different: Meet the Martini. Our most recent group was seeking a wellbeing experience that aligned with Happy Hour. In collaboration with @tahoebluevodka we created a martini making lesson along with education in the history of martinis and a chance to explore the flavor profiles of various spirits. Have you attended one of our Washoe Cultural Talks yet? Experience the mountains through the eyes of the Washoe people. Every Friday all summer long, this free, unique educational experience will be held at High Camp; overlooking Olympic Valley, Lake Tahoe, and the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Speakers from the Washoe Tribe will discuss the history and culture of the tribe, as well the surrounding natural landmarks, local wildlife, and why changing the name of the resort that sits on their ancestral land is important to the Washoe Tribe.
