Nicholas Coley Exhibition: Light of Passage
Plein Air artist, Nicholas Coley, is returning to Truckee with his exhibition, Light of Passage at Piper J Gallery. Open reception is during the Truckee Art Walk from 4-7 with an artist talk at 5:00PM. His exhibition will be up until July 4th.
Piper J Gallery is pleased to present new work by Nicholas Coley, on view throughout the month of June in downtown Truckee. Painting en plein air, directly on-site within the landscapes he renders, Coley captures the living atmosphere of place: light, weather, and stillness translated in real time to canvas. The result is large-scale, quietly powerful work that invites the viewer into a moment of transformation.
Join us for the opening reception during Truckee Art Walk on Friday, June 6th, with an artist talk by Coley at 5:00pm on his work and process. The exhibition will be up at Piper J until July 4th.
