North Tahoe ArtsPlein Air Painting Workshop

Learn to Paint Tahoe from life using watercolor and gouache Techniques, participants will learn the basics of the medium, and how to simplify the scenery as a way of taking notes on color and form on the shore of Lake Tahoe. With personal instruction from local artist and adventurer Ian Blackhall Scott, participants will be gain the knowledge and materials to paint impressions of the landscape quickly while on the go, to gain a deeper capturing of the scenery beyond pictures from a phone camera. Workshop takes place at Commons Beach in Tahoe City.
