Get ready for a new kind of winter thrill! Snowfest is turning up the excitement with the debut of this Snomo Skijoring Competition. Watch—or jump in—as two-person teams charge through a fast-paced course of gates, jumps, and sweeping turns, with skiers flying behind high-powered snowmobiles.
Set against the snowy fairways of the Tahoe City Golf Course, this first-of-its-kind event blends the tradition of skijoring with the adrenaline-fueled spirit of Alaska’s iconic Arctic Man. With Race Director Daron Rahlves (Red Bull) and MC Steven Siig (Tahoe Art Haus) leading the action, competitors will push the limits for prizes, bragging rights, and a true taste of Tahoe winter fun.
Spectators can line the course behind the Cobblestone Center, EVO Lodge, and Pete ’n Peters—prime viewing spots to catch every carve, jump, and powerslide. Whether you’re racing or cheering, this is pure Snowfest energy: community, adrenaline, and winter fun at full throttle.
