For The Tahoe Art League
This Saturday, July 4th from 10 am to 4 pm, please join Make Tahoe Records at Scott Forrest Fine Art Studio to help Tahoe’s very own Tahoe Art League. Make Tahoe Records will be featuring an exhibit of “Freshly Groomed Vinyl”, a curated collection of freshies on vinyl including new releases from alternative artists and reissues of classics. Meet Scott Forrest, President of the Tahoe Art League, find out more about the Tahoe Art League, and learn how to become a member. A portion of the proceeds from 4th of July vinyl sales will go to benefit the Tahoe Art League. If you prefer contactless shopping, go to MakeTahoeRecords.com and request shipping, local delivery, or curbside pick up.
The Tahoe Art League has been supporting local artists and the community at large since 1964. Nationally known for its annual Artist Studio Tour, TAL also provides scholarships for students, workshops and demonstrations for its members and the public, exhibit opportunities in a co-op style gallery, and a place for community events. Due to COVID-19, this year’s Artist Studio Tour has been cancelled. The tour has been the means to keep TAL and the scholarships going. Now is the time to give back to this organization that has been such an integral and beneficial part of our community. The Tahoe Art League Gallery is located at 3062 Lake Tahoe Blvd, South Lake Tahoe, CA. More information can be found at TALart.org.
Make Tahoe Records is the online and pop-up vinyl shop of MakeTahoe.com. Make Tahoe’s vision is to make Tahoe your destination for Art.
